Head lice, or nits as they are often known are common in school children, yet many remedies contain potent ingredients that many experts believe are unsafe for young scalps. That is why Salon Monkey recommends Maristow's The Biz Niz Tea Tree and Quassia Shampoo.
Maristow's The Biz Niz Tea Tree and Quassia Shampoo is a 100% natural shampoo which contains no organophosphates, an ingredient used in many head lice treatments, as well as sheep dip. Would you put sheep dip on your child's head? Neither would we!
Containing tea tree - a powerful natural antiseptic, and quassia - an infusion of natural woodchip and and insect repellant Maristow's The Biz Niz Tea Tree and Quassia Shampoo contains no hidden `nasties' and is safe to use on children.
Made in England, Maristow's The Biz Niz Tea Tree and Quassia Shampoo is recommended by The Times.

When my son first started Playgroup I heard horror stories about certain children there who constantly had nits, so shuddering to myself I went along to Boots to stock up on head lice treatment `just in case.' I was horrified to be recommended a chemical treatment that was meant to be left on his three-year old scalp overnight!
Needless to say I was relieved to find Maristow's shampoo. It smells reassuringly minty and make hair super shiny. I can't say for sure that it works as I use the Leave In Conditioner and comb like mad, but I definitely recommend it to any parent who cares about their child's health and well being.
